Few coffee regions align with nature’s rhythm quite like Antioquia, Colombia. Here, two dry seasons give way to two wet seasons. It is primarily this transition, from dry to wet conditions, that triggers flowering in coffee plants, Antioquia therefore benefits from two annual harvests where most regions manage just one. Combine this with ideal temperatures, high altitudes, and rich soils, and it’s clear why this Castillo-Caturra lot flourishes in such a distinctive growing environment.
